Library to offer 'Woody Reflected' concert

Music lovers, all,

A free concert is coming to The Warehouse Saturday, October 20th at 2:00 PM. This one is so special I am sad that I am not allowed at concerts at The Warehouse. It is called “Woody Reflected” and is a musical tribute to Woody Guthrie, a legend in Depression era “folk” music. This will be presented by Charlie Maguire, Pop Wagner and Tony Glover. This is a very interesting combination of musicians from all over the country with differing backgrounds. Charlie Maguire is from New York originally and began as a folk singer. Pop Wagner is a “cowboy” singer and rope twirler. Tony Glover is best known for Blues, Rags and Hollers – all work songs.

Free tickets are available at Pine River Public Library. This is nostalgia at its very best.

This free Legacy Program is funded in part or in whole with money dedicated to funding to preserve Minnesota’s art and cultural heritage

I remain,

PS. Don’t forget to have your pets spayed or neutered. It is important. Not all kitties and puppies will find loving homes the way I did.
